A static site
rubensalgueiro.pt is a static site. Every page is an HTML file generated before publication and served exactly as it is. There is no database, no server-side processing and no running application that receives or stores anything you type.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. There are no technical, preference, session or third-party cookies, and nothing is written to your browser's local storage. That is why there is no consent banner, and why none would be needed.
Analytics and tracking
No analytics tool is used. There is no Google Analytics, no social media pixel, no heatmap, no session recording and no advertising identifier. Your visit is not counted, not profiled and not linked back to you.
Server logs
As on any web server, the hosting provider may keep technical access logs for the period set out in its own policy. Those logs are not used for audience measurement, are not combined with other sources, and are not used to profile anyone who visits.
Personal data
This site collects no personal data. There is no form, no account registration, no newsletter sign-up and no members' area. There is nothing to submit, so there is nothing stored.
Fonts and assets
Every asset — fonts, images, stylesheets and scripts — is served from the site's own domain. There are no requests to Google Fonts, to third-party content delivery networks or to any other external domain. Opening a page here contacts nobody else.
Outbound links
The only links off this site go to LinkedIn and to publicly published material cited as a source, including a video hosted on a third-party platform. Following one of them takes you to a service with its own privacy policy and its own cookies, which apply from the moment that page loads. This site neither controls those services nor answers for them.
Contact form
The form on that page collects your name, your email address, the subject and the message, and optionally your organisation and role. The submission travels over HTTPS to an address on this same domain and is relayed by email to a private mailbox. The website does not keep the message: there is no database, and the content is never written to a log. From there your message sits where any correspondence sits — in a mailbox — and is used only to reply to you. The basis for this processing is your consent, given when you submit the form; without it the message is not sent.
Protection against abuse
To stop automated submissions, the server briefly keeps a value derived from your IP address through a keyed hash. The IP address itself is not stored, the value cannot be used to reconstruct it, it expires within minutes, and it lives outside the public area of the hosting. No message content and no email address ever enters those files.
Hosting
The site is hosted in the European Union. The files served are static and contain no visitor data.
